Draft proposals have been published to attract businesses to the PowerPark in Lowestoft.

Simplified and flexible planning arrangements will enable businesse to commence construction without making a planning application or paying planning fees, including Section 106 payments. The arrangements will also apply to other businesses operating within the energy, offshore engineering and ports and logistics sectors. The Council intents to adopt the Local Development Order before 1 April 2012.
