The Council is asking for your views on a number of additional sites that were suggested for development after consultation on the 'preferred sites' in late 2008 / early 2009.
Further preferred sites for the Lowestoft area:
Once the Council has considered the responses to the preferred sites and further preferred sites, a final draft will be published for consultation in February 2010. Representations at the final draft stage will need to relate to the soundness of the document. The document will then be submitted for Examination by an Independent Planning Inspector.
When adopted, this document will identify suitable land for future development within Waveney for specific purposes such as housing, employment, shopping and community facilities.
This consultation has now closed and the final response is available.
