Are there any actual consultation meetings and / or presentations being undertaken ? If so, when, where and by whom ? Also, where would we find information on who actually owns the land where development sites are proposed ? Thank you.

With regard the site at Oakes farm as use for rugby club I would suggest that it is too close to existing clubs (Beccles, Southwold) and further away from our current catchment area of Yarmouth as well as North Lowestoft. Because of the problem getting across town over the years the catchment area for us is mainly north of the river and into Gorleston and Yarmouth. Certainly from the large youth section is very much dependant on this area for support and I feel that moving south of the river wil

I have no opinion on the development of the Normanston Road Fire Station as the most obvious use for the site when considering its location is for further housing. In principle I do not oppose the development of Oakes Farm at Carlton Colville particularly for sports and leisure purposes. However I do not believe it is the most suitable site for Lowestoft & Yarmouth Rugby Club (L&Y). As the name suggests, a large and very important portion of L&Y's members still herald from Great Yarmouth wher

It is essential that the option regarding sports & leisure for part of Oakes Farm if successfull is fully landscaped ( ie additional planting and groundworks especially taking into consideration the undulating land towards the west, rather than just maintaining the status quo) to prevent an intrusion into the open countryside particulary from the south and western boundaries. This will also reduce the impact of the lighting. Whilst recreation facilities are an essential part of modern life, i

I am commenting on the preferred options for the redevelopment of Normanhurst fire station. While I broadly support the conversion into residential development, I am concerned that there are some local circumstances that should be taken into consideration. I have lived in High Beech for 5 years, with my property on the eastern boundary of the site. My father in law lives at number X (House number removed), and is the main reason we moved to the property. He has been in the house since they were

Corton PC's response to the Long Lane site not being taken forward for sports field development is a favourable one and I attach for your information an earlier response made (see below), which I'm sure you've seen. The Council tried to present a balanced view here, looking at both sides of the proposal, but came up with twice the number of "cons" as it did with "pros". Since then, it has been established that the areas of woodland to the north of Long Lane are more sensitive than previously t

The Assembly supports the selection of sites that meet the development requirements set out in Waveney's Core Strategy. The preferred site at Carlton Colville (site 151c) exceeds the threshold for regional significance, as defined by the Regional Planning Panel in September 2007. When specific development proposals for this location are progressed, further information will be required by the Assembly in order to make appropriate assessments of conformity issues.

This site looks very suitable for the potential planned usage; It is close to the largest population concentration in the borough, It is on established public transport routes, It could attract rugby players from the Beccles area
