The Council is inviting representations of support or objection on Development Management Policies which will help to determine planning applications across the District (excluding the Broads Authority area).

Topics include:

  • Housing
  • Tourism
  • Culture
  • Natural Environment
  • Built and Historic Environment

Exhibitions are taking place across the District.

The Council will consider all the representations received and may make minor changes if appropriate. If there are representations that bring into question the overall soundness of the document in the mind of the Council, then there may be a need to delay submission and undertake further consultation and amendment.

Once the document is Submitted, all representations including any changes will be forwarded to an Independent Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. The Inspector will 'Examine' the document and conduct a public hearing, anticipated to take place in October 2010.
